Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power system for a vehicle which can measure the value of the voltage of each single battery in a battery module in a short time and accurately. SOLUTION: The power system for a vehicle includes the battery module comprising a plurality of single batteries connected in series, an integrated circuit connected to each single battery of the battery module, an inverter apparatus connected to a dynamo-electric machine, and a relay connected between the inverter apparatus and the battery module. The power system for a vehicle includes a control circuit which measures at least the voltage of each single battery described above by the drive of the integrated circuit by the ON of a key switch, and stores the results of its measurement, and balances the charge and discharge in each single battery described above, based on the stored results of the measurement after ON of the relay.
