PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an apparatus capable of recovering an image to easily form the image, and to achieve high-speed reproduction of a camera shake correction image. SOLUTION: An image recording apparatus for acquiring an original image (correction target image) from an image pickup section and recording the original image in a recording medium (16) also acquires a reference image photographed in exposure time shorter than that of the original image in acquiring the original image from the image pickup section. The image recording apparatus inclues: a recovery function generating section (32) for generating a recovery function for correcting the deterioration due to blur of the original image on the basis of the original image and the reference image; and a recovery function recording control section (33) for recording the recovery function data indicating the recovery function in the recording medium in association with the original image.
