Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To individually detect the loads on ultrasonic oscillators. SOLUTION: Provided is an ultrasonic wave generating device, in which either the ultrasonic oscillations generated by an ultrasonic oscillator are transmitted through a probe head contained in a first head block (2a), to a load, or the ultrasonic oscillations generated by an ultrasonic oscillator are transmitted through a probe head contained in a second head block (2b), to the load. The ultrasonic wave generating device comprises a first detecting circuit (14a) which detects whether the probe head contained in the first head block (2a) is in the loaded state or the unloaded state, and a second detecting circuit (14b) which detects whether the probe head contained in the second head block (2b) is in the loaded state or the unloaded state.
