PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fault diagnosis information acquisition system of a pay-per-view television receiver for a hotel provided with a two-way communication function, which is constructed so that a TV receiver maker can provide detailed fault diagnosis information when a fault occurs in the pay-per-view television receiver for a hotel in which pay content broadcasted by satellite broadcasting and cable television can be charged, and can be achieved without using as much system construction expense as possible. SOLUTION: The fault diagnosis information acquisition system of the pay-per-view television receiver for a hotel includes a fault diagnosis information acquiring means for acquiring fault diagnosis information, a fault notifying means for notifying an operator of a detected fault, and a fault diagnosis information transmitting means for transmitting the fault diagnosis information acquired by the fault diagnosis information acquiring means to the fault analysis terminal of a maker for analyzing the fault diagnosis information to thereby be able to provide the fault diagnosis information to the fault analysis terminal of the maker.
