SOLUTION: This bulletproof protective member is composed of ceramics and fiber reinforced plastic constituted of a plurality of layers different in a bending elastic modulus, and is characterized by arranging a layer of a high bending elastic modulus among the plurality of layers of the fiber reinforced plastic on the side nearer to the ceramics than a layer of a low bending elastic modulus.
