Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corrosion resistant and wear resistant member obtained by forming a thermal sprayed layer having corrosion resistance and wear resistance on the surface of a metal member contacted with a resin generating a strong corrosive gas, and to provide thermal spraying powder. SOLUTION: Disclosed is a corrosion resistant and wear resistant member in which metal powder is thermally sprayed on a metal base material, thus a thermal sprayed layer is formed on the surface of the metal base material, and is characterized in that the thermal sprayed layer is a tetragonal Mo2(Ni, Cr)B2-based or tetragonal Mo2(Ni, Cr, V)B2-based double boride cermet. Also disclosed is powder for forming a thermal sprayed layer composed of a tetragonal Mo2(Ni, Cr)B2-based double boride cermet and having a composition composed of, by mass, 4.0 to 6.5% B, 39.0 to 64.0% Mo, 7.5 to 20.0% Cr, and the balance ≥5% Ni with inevitable elements.
