Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a time not imaging, and to prevent the lowering of a frame efficiency in a monitor camera system with a plurality of monitor cameras consisting of asynchronous cameras respectively. SOLUTION: The monitor camera system 1 is composed of three cameras 2, 3 and 4, an analog switch 5, an A/D converter 6, a digital decoder 7, a memory 8, a display device 9 and a controller 10. The controller 10 detects the deviations of the generating timings of the mutual vertical synchronizing signals of the cameras 2, 3 and 4, and changes over the cameras 2, 3 and 4 in response to a reference timing coinciding with one vertical synchronizing signal in these cameras. The controller 10 acquires image data corresponding to one-frame length respectively, and edits and processes the image data containing the vertical synchronizing signals in intermediate sections to the proper image data of 1 frame on the basis of the detected deviation.
