Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for mass-producing hydrogen by using microorganisms and also the industrial production of an antioxidant such as lutein, etc. SOLUTION: This method comprises the process of green algae photosynthesis 10 for producing an organic material 3a by using the green algae-culturing liquid containing the green algae 1 equipped with a photosynthetic capacity under a bright aerobic condition to fix carbon dioxide by the photosynthesis of the green algae 1, the process of bacterial photosynthesis 20 for taking out the organic material 3a and putting it into a photosynthetic bacteria-culturing liquid 8 containing the photosynthetic bacteria to produce hydrogen 9 from the organic material 3a by the photosynthetic bacteria under a bright anaerobic condition, the process of extracting substances in the algae bodies 30 for separating the algae bodies from the green algae-culturing liquid 2 passing through the green algae photosynthetic process 10 and extracting the substance produced and accumulated in the algae bodies and a process of antioxidant purification process 50 for purifying the antioxidation substance from the above extracted material, and also including an antioxidant purification process in the above hydrogen production cycle and further, equipping a lactic acid fermentation process 40 for performing the lactic acid fermentation process of the organic material 3b extracted in the process of extracting the substances in the algae bodies 30 for producing the lactic acid 6 so as to produce the hydrogen 9 by utilizing the lactic acid 6 also.
