Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating apparatus that can cook rice by inductively heating a pot in accordance with a rice cooking sequence by an inverter to achieve consecutive rice cooking after a rice cooking action is completed at a short time interval. SOLUTION: The rice cooking action can be achieved by control means 4 that inductively heats the pot 1 by supplying alternating current to a coil 2 by the inverter 3, activates a fan motor 11 by a fan motor activating means 10, cools the inverter 3 by a fan 14, and outputs an activation signal to the inverter 3 in accordance with the rice cooking sequence. A measured time by a timer means 7 that measures the time is determined by determination means 8. The timer means 7 keeps measuring time after it receives a rice cooking completion detecting signal output by a rice cooking completion detecting means 6 that detects the completion of the rice cooking action and the determination means 8 outputs the activation signal to the fan motor activating means 10 to rotate the fan motor 11 until the measured time by the timer means 7 reaches a threshold time set by a threshold setting means 9.
