LOAD DRIVE CONTROL CIRCUIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load drive control circuit that further surely detects a sky fault or a ground fault occurring in a load connection terminal. SOLUTION: Each bridge-like resistor group (resistors 18, 19, resistors 22, 23, and resistors 26, 27) is mounted to each of bridge circuits...

Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load drive control circuit that further surely detects a sky fault or a ground fault occurring in a load connection terminal. SOLUTION: Each bridge-like resistor group (resistors 18, 19, resistors 22, 23, and resistors 26, 27) is mounted to each of bridge circuits 5-7 so as to apply a voltage of a power supply Vcc to each of them. When the state of each motor M1, M2 is switched between stop and rotation (normal rotation and reverse rotation), each bridge output of the bridge circuits 5-7 is once put into a high-impedance state. Then, the presence or the absence of an output short-circuit (a sky fault or a ground fault) of each motor M1, M2 is determined by checking a change in each of the intermediate voltages Vv, Vh, and Vcom extracted from between each resistor group and each bridge output.
