Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a Peltier device and a control circuit for the Peltier device are required to suppress the temperature drift of an image pickup signal in an infrared imaging device, whereby the cost and size of a casing are increased. SOLUTION: An offset calculation circuit (15) calculates an average value of total pixels of one frame of an output signal of an A-D converter (7) and obtains a signal level difference between the center of a signal dynamic range and a target level to supply a potential regulating amount to a potential adjustment circuit (5). The potential adjustment amount is supplied from the offset calculation circuit (15), whereby an output signal of the potential adjustment circuit (5) is adjusted so that an average signal level coincides with a center value of the signal dynamic range.
