Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a phenomenon that one part of unfixed developer transferred to recording material causes an image failure by sticking to a fixing body during fixing, in a simple constitution, inexpensively and more effectively. SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is provided with; a transfer discharging needle 11 which is provided in a conveying path on which the recording material P with a toner image transferred on it is conveyed to a fixing nip part NFand eliminates excessive charge applied to the recording material during transferring; a pressure roller discharging needle 14 discharging a surface of a pressure roller 24; and a conductive path 13 electrically connecting the transfer discharging needle 11 and the pressure roller discharging needle 14.
