Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compactly store protective films after being peeled from optical films, and to suppress the occurrence of foreign substances. SOLUTION: An apparatus for sticking an optical film is provided with: a winding means by which protective film peeled from different optical films arranged back and forth in terms of time are connected to each other and continuously wound on a winding shaft; and a discharge means by which a cylindrical protective film body formed by sequentially winding a plurality of protective films on the winding shaft is detached from the winding shaft and discharged. Accordingly, when protective film is peeled and discharged from optical films to be stuck on display panels, peeled protective film is connected to each other and continuously wound and the wound body (protective film body) is discharged, therefore the protective film storage area etc. can be made smaller to reduce the footprint of the whole apparatus.
