Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brushless motor having a detecting means for detecting the position of a magnet without positioning. SOLUTION: A magnetizer 100 has a magnetizing yoke 108 fixedly positioned on a seat 104. A through hole 112 formed in the magnetizing yoke 108 is provided with a protruded narrow portion 116 protruded inward in the radial direction. When a shaft 28 holding a main magnet 20 and a sub-magnet 84 is inserted into the through hole 112, the sub-magnet 84 is surrounded by the protruded narrow portion 116.
