Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective cover for a terminal separately protecting a pair of terminals for a trip-lock terminal block respectively, preventing an accidental contact of a conductor section of the other terminal not related and a lead wire for testing a protective relay during the operation confirmation of the protective relay and easily attaching or detaching short-circuit plugs. SOLUTION: The protective cover for the terminals has a fixing member 22 fixed to a front panel 86 for a protective control panel and having a height from the front panel lower than the locations of clamp screws 72a capable of attaching or detaching the short-circuit plugs for the terminals, a movable member 12 housed under the state pushing the movable member into the fixing member or the state pulling out the movable member from the fixing member and a spring 30 in the fixing member. The clamp screws 72a can be operated when the movable member 12 is pushed into the fixing member 22 against the urging force of the spring 30, and the movable member 12 covers sections in the vicinity of the protective sections 76a for the terminals by the urging force of the spring 30 when attaching or detaching the short-circuit plugs 78 is completed.
