PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding door opening-closing mechanism capable of easily, surely and fully opening this sliding door even in the large and heavy sliding door. SOLUTION: The sliding door opening-closing mechanism is formed by arranging a pair of upper-lower guide means for guiding the sliding door so as to open a front opening part of a storage body by being superposed on the other sliding door, after sliding in the horizontal direction by pulling out any one of the sliding door to this side. A retracting mechanism 30 is arranged for retracting the sliding door up to a full opening position in the vicinity of the full opening position when opening any one of the right-left sliding doors. Here, the retracting mechanism 30 is constituted by installing first and second members 31 and 32 in the right-left sliding doors, arranging an retracting pin 33 in the first member 31, and arranging a retracting catch 37 moving while turning by a plane view L-shaped guide groove 36 and a spring 33 biasing the retracting catch 37 in the full opening direction of the sliding door in opening operation, in the second member 32.
