Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress generation of slapping sounds between a tensioner arm and a plunger without providing an additional shock absorbing material in the tensioner arm, in a tensioner device for applying predetermined tension to an endless driving body by pressing the tensioner arm by the plunger of a lifter. SOLUTION: The tensioner device 23 is provided with the tensioner arm 24 arranged along a cam chain 14 and the lifter 31 having the plunger 33 for pressing the tensioner arm 24 on the cam chain 14 side.
