Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid sample which allows accurate observation of the dispersion state of the substance in a liquid, while holding the dispersion state of the substance in droplets. SOLUTION: The solid sample includes the liquid which takes on a liquid phase at normal temperature and pressure, and a substance different from the liquid, which takes on a solid phase or liquid phase at normal temperature and pressure. A method includes a step of preparing a specimen wherein the substance has been dispersed in the liquid, and a step of adhering the specimen to a cooled stage surface as the droplets, thereby making an entire observed area amorphous.
