PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily arrange a retainer inside an airbag. SOLUTION: In the airbag device 1 comprising the retainer 14 arranged inside the airbag 15, a radial size of a gas exhaust port 51 is made larger than a radial size of a gas introducing port 43 of the airbag 15. The retainer 14 is inserted into the airbag 15 from the gas exhaust port 51 of the airbag 15. The retainer 14 provided with a high cylindrical circumferential plate part 31b can be easily inserted into the airbag 15. As any structure to be a weak part, such as a slit for inserting the retainer 14, need not be provided around the gas introduction port 43, strength of a part of the gas introducing port 43 of the airbag 15 can be improved.
