Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anisotropic porous material in which a plurality of pores with prescribed pore sizes can be composed in such a manner that the intervals among the pores are optionally set, and with which treatment such as purification can be easily performed while maintaining its initial function, and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: The anisotropic porous material 10 comprises a plurality of pores 12 in a matrix 11, and the plurality of pores 12 have directivity and are arranged, so as to be linearly passed through.
