Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a development support system which is capable of collecting frequencies of use of respective functions attached to electronic equipment via the Internet to make them serve for the development of next products. SOLUTION: When a key of a remote controller is operated for a composite recording and reproducing apparatus, a command signal of the operated key is analyzed to discriminate a type of the key, and time information at the reception of the command signal is regarded as time information at the operation of the key to generate the log information of the operation of the key. The generated log information is stored in a flash ROM, and the log information stored in the flash ROM is transmitted to a maker-side server via the Internet. The maker-side server having received the log information from the composite recording and reproducing apparatus, stores the log information into a storage medium and reads the log information from the storage medium to display it on a display device in response to a display indication.
