Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold presence information during the session setting of a terminal belonging to other IP networks permitted in advance in the presence server of an own IP network, and to use the presence information for a user in the own IP network for a presence management system of other IP network users that has an SIP server and a presence server managing presence information in an own IP network and is connected to other IP networks via a gateway server. SOLUTION: The SIP server has a means for notifying the presence server of information including the terminal state of the user of other IP networks when receiving a message including a control request from the terminal of the user of other IP networks. The presence server stores the presence information of the terminal of the user of other IP networks at a pseudo presence user data storage section. When a notified terminal is the terminal of the user of other IP networks, the presence information of the user of the terminal is set to the presence user data storage section, thus enabling reference by the terminal of the user of the own IP network.
