Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar radiation detecting device capable of detecting solar radiation quantity, even with an inexpensive structure. SOLUTION: A solar radiation sensor is provided with a first photodiode detecting light in a high-wavelength region, a second photodiode detecting light in the low-wavelength region, and a calculating means for calculating the solar radiation quantity, by combining light quantity detected by the first photodiode and light quantity detected by the second photodiode. According to this solar radiation detecting sensor, since the solar radiation quantity is calculated by combination of the light quantity detected by a plurality of the inexpensive photodiodes, and the solar radiation quantity can be detected, even with a low-cost constitution.
