Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an industrial vehicle capable of simultaneously tilting a cargo handling member during the power regeneration when descending the cargo handling member, and efficiently performing the power regeneration. SOLUTION: A battery type forklift comprises a lift cylinder 18 for elevating/lowering a fork 16, and a control valve 26 for a lift which is interposed between the lift cylinder 18 and a working fluid tank 28 to expand/contract the lift cylinder 18 for changing the position. A hydraulic pump 29 for feeding working fluid to the lift cylinder 18 is provided in the middle of a tank feed piping 31, and the hydraulic pump 29 is driven by a motor 30. A hydraulic motor 47 exclusive for regeneration which is driven by the working fluid collected to the working fluid tank 28 from the lift cylinder 18 is provided in the middle of a tank piping 43 for collection.
