Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin plate which not only can present an impressive design but also maintain the design permanently and can be manufactured with a process being not complicated, and a method for manufacturing the resin plate. SOLUTION: The resin plate is composed of a first resin layer using a first resin and a second resin layer using a second resin. A design layer using a thin material is formed between the first resin layer and the second resin layer. The first resin and the second resin are the same or different. The second resin is so selected as for the second resin layer to have a visible light transmittance of at least 50%. The thin material, before being formed as the design layer between the first resin layer and the second resin layer, is subjected to the immersion treatment by the first resin in advance.
