Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rainwater intake device which can take rainwater from a down pipe selectively by means of a hose or a semi-circular cross-sectional gutter. SOLUTION: The rainwater intake device 32 is formed by blocking a lower opening edge 33a of an upper down pipe 33 of the down pipe 31, and an upper opening edge 34a of a lower down pipe 34 of the same. A first single pipe 35 arranged on a top face 32a of the water intake device 32 has a 90-degree elbow 35a arranged in the device. A second single pipe 36 is secured to the water intake device 32 in a manner penetrating a bottom face 32b of the same, and formed with a weir portion 36a above the bottom face 32b and a hanging portion 36b under the same. Then a sleeve 37 is fitted onto the upper opening edge 34a of the lower down pipe 34, and the hanging portion 36b of the second single pipe 36 is fitted into a projection 37a of the upper opening edge 34a. Further a third short pipe 41 as an intake port 40 of rainwater is arranged in the bottom face 32b of the rainwater intake device 32 such that an upper end face 41a of the third short pipe 41 is flush with the bottom face 32b. Then water is taken from the intake port 40 via the hose 42. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
