Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device excellently operable without freezing pure water of a cooling medium, even when using a pure water boiling type cooling system of using the pure water as the cooling medium in a subfreezing low temperature environment. SOLUTION: The pure water boiling type cooling system has a heat receiver 10 converting the pure water of a liquid phase sealed inside as the cooling medium into pure water of gaseous phase by receiving heat from a thermally joined cooling object 1, and a radiator 30 airtightly connected and joined with this heat receiver 10 and returning the pure water to a heat receiving body by condensing and converting the pure water of this gaseous phase into the pure water of the liquid phase by radiating heat of the pure water of the gaseous phase sent from this heat receiving body to outside air. Noncondensible gas 40 of quantity for filling this radiator is sealed under reduced pressure in the radiator 30 when the outside air temperature is the 0°C vicinity or below. The pure water is pushed in the heat receiver 10 by the noncondensible gas so that the pure water converted into the gaseous phase does not enter this radiator 30 from the heat receiver 10 in a state of causing no heating of the cooling body.
