Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a three-dimensionally shaped structure which can be easily machined after having been shaped. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the three-dimensionally shaped structure 8 comprises: a powder-layer-forming step of forming a powder layer by supplying metal powders to a plate 3 for shaping; and an irradiation step of irradiating the powder layer with a light beam to melt the powder layer and form a sintered and hardened layer. The method also includes removing a second region E2 by machining previously before shaping the three-dimensional structure, which corresponds to a region that is scheduled to be subjected to a predetermined machining step after the three-dimensionally structure has been shaped, out of the first region E1 that corresponds to the hardened layer of the plate 3 for shaping, which will be hardened in the irradiation step. The three-dimensionally shaped structure 8 can be easily machined, because the second region E2 is removed and there is no hardened portion in the region at which the plate 3 for shaping is machined.
