Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of detecting easily a memory error occurred when accessing a memory or when releasing an allocated memory, in a development stage of software. SOLUTION: This memory error detection method includes (a) a step for generating a variable indicating the first memory block in a memory area allocated to the variable contained in a computer program, (b) a step for executing computation using the variable indicating an access-objective memory block in the allocated memory area, and/or the variable indicating the first memory block, before accessing the allocated memory area, and for detecting the memory error generated when accessing the allocated memory area, and (c) a step for outputting information as to the detected memory error.
