SOLUTION: The motor driven compressor comprises a housing in which a compression part, a motor part 5, and an electric circuit part are arrayed in the longitudinal direction. A suction fluid passage through which fluid to be compressed by a compression mechanism passes is provided passing through a part where the electric circuit part exists, in the axial direction while deviating from the axis of the housing.
