Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide one-side welding equipment that saves time and labor of an operator and that enables a plurality of backing carts to be accurately and simply arranged at a proper position. SOLUTION: In the one-side welding equipment, welding is performed, while arranging a plurality of backing carts on the reverse side of workpieces, along a plurality of weld lines that are formed in parallel between the workpieces by butting the plurality of workpieces against each other. The equipment is characterized in that it has a positioning control means which controls location interval between the plurality of backing carts so that respective backing carts move along each weld line.
