Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating cooker capable of responding to temperature detection in a wide range, and of executing heating control by accurately detecting the temperature of a heating object on a top plate without causing an error in the detected temperature. SOLUTION: This induction heating cooker is provided with: an infrared detection means 6 detecting an infrared ray from a heating object; a first temperature detection means 9 detecting the temperature of the heating object from the output of the infrared detection means 6; a second temperature detection means 10 detecting the temperature of the top plate for mounting the heating object thereon; and a control means 11 controlling heating output in response to the outputs of the temperature detection means 9 and 10. The first temperature detection means 9 has an output reduction means 13 reducing the output of the infrared detection means 6 according to the output of the temperature detection means 10, and an amplification means 12 amplifying its output, and the control means 11 controls heating output to a heating coil according to the output of the amplification means 12. Thereby, an infrared amount is amplified after the reduction, whereby the induction heating cooker can respond to temperature detection in a wide range, and can accurately detect the temperature of the heating object on the top plate without causing an error in the detection temperature.
