Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a detector of partial discharge in a gas-insulated switch gear capable of supplying a power source required for driving the detector independently from an external main power source in the partial discharge detector of a capacitor partial pressure type for detecting partial discharge occurring inside the gas-insulated switch gear. SOLUTION: The partial discharge 4 taking place inside a gas-insulated vessel 1 propagates along a center conductor 2 as an electromagnetic signal 5. Main circuit voltage with commercial frequency is applied to the center conductor 2. A voltage signal detected by a voltage detector 6 of a capacitor partial pressure type is a signal in which a partial discharge signal and a main circuit voltage signal are superimposed. The partial discharge signal synchronous with the main circuit voltage is measured through processing in a signal separation part 10 and a computation part 11. An internal power supply part 17 takes out voltage with the main circuit voltage separated based on a signal output from the voltage detector 6 and supplies power supply voltage to the signal separation part 10 and the computation part 11.
