Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal structure of the fixed-side of a rotary joint capable of preventing contamination caused by oil leakage. SOLUTION: The rotary joint 1 includes a cylindrical upper fixed body 11, a cylindrical lower fixed body 12, and a shaft-like rotor 13 rotatably supported by the upper fixed body 11 and lower fixed body 12. The upper fixed body 11 is provided with a nozzle 15 communicating with a fluid flow port 132 on the side of rotation formed on the external peripheral surface of the rotor 13, and a seal portion with the periphery of a fluid flow port on the side of fixation made to serve as a thin-walled partitioning wall is provided at the end of the nozzle 15. Therefor, a clearance between and among the upper fixed body 11, the lower fixed body 12, and the rotor 13 is sealed without using oil. Even if a foreign matter enters the clearance, the foreign matter is prevented from being entering the fluid. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
