Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a board circuit block selecting device, a board circuit block selecting method and a board circuit block selection program which can easily and accurately select a desired function circuit block by easily and accurately selecting an element and a pattern desired by a user with a simple operation and designating an area in a circuit board such as a printed circuit board. SOLUTION: The board circuit block selecting device comprises: virtual area designating means 122 and 123 for designating a virtual area in a circuit board; a coordinate acquiring means 101 for acquiring a plurality of coordinates along a contour of the virtual area designated by the virtual area designating means 122 and 123 arbitrarily; and a function circuit block selecting means 101 for selecting a function circuit block provided with a prescribed function composed of circuit elements on the circuit board on the basis of the coordinates acquired by the coordinate acquiring means 101.
