Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device having a communication means capable of reducing cost of equipment and installation man-hours, as well as, immune to electric noise by eliminating necessity of wiring signal lines for data communication, when installing the display unit displaying operation states or the like of a production line in various production lines. SOLUTION: In the communication method, a slave unit for power line communication is arranged on a side of the display device, a master unit for the power line communication is arranged at a side of an accumulation device for accumulating information from various machine tools; and the communication method of information between the accumulation device and the display unit is set to one with signals superimposed on power line.
