Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device and its control method which can complete the print job accumulated before the number of the printed sheets reaches an upper limit value. SOLUTION: The number of the printed sheets necessary to execute the accumulation type print job is calculated including enough number of the printed sheets. The difference B between the upper limit value A and the number C of the printed sheets is calculated during the execution of the print job. When there is the storage type print job having the number of the printed sheets more than this difference B, the effect that the number of the printed sheets is near the upper limit value of the number of the printed sheets is notified to a user who generates its print job.
