Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized portable power pack easy to be carried about and used without restriction of spaces and sites as a power source in a variety of fields such as various mobile electronic devices and self-sustaining robots by converting a mechanical power into an electrical output. SOLUTION: The portable power pack includes: a fuel tank for storing DME fuel therein and supplying the fuel to the outside; a fuel/air supply stacked above the fuel tank for mixing the fuel and outside air, thereby providing the mixed fuel to an engine; a uniflow scavenging micro-engine stacked above the fuel/air supply for receiving the mixed fuel and igniting the mixed fuel to explode; a control panel for operating and controlling the portable power pack; a battery for powering a glow plug formed in the control panel and the uniflow scavenging micro-engine; and a battery for compensating a load current fluctuation generated in the uniflow scavenging micro-engine.
