Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of replacing an existing bridge guard fence, for replacing the guard fence without breaking existing ground covering concrete. SOLUTION: The method is composed of: a step of removing the existing bridge guard fence 1 from the wheel guard concrete 2; a step of cutting anchor bolts 10 remaining in the ground covering concrete 2; a step of boring an anchor bolt setting hole 7 around each remaining anchor bolt 10 and inserting and fixing a new anchor bolt 10A into the hole by a hardener; and a step of rigidly fastening a new support 3A to the anchor bolt 10A, to thereby mount the bridge guard fence.
