PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a baggage compartment structure for a vehicle not causing breakage of a partition member even when an excessive load is inputted to an engagement part in a forward direction of a vehicle while the partition member is deployed on a floor of the compartment and the engagement part and an engaged part of the partition member are engaged with each other. SOLUTION: This baggage compartment structure 10 for a vehicle comprises a first tonneau cover 40 deployably housed in a housing case 30 of a luggage room 14, and a hook groove 60 engageable with a guide pin 54 and having an inclined face 60D for canceling an engagement condition of the guide pin 54 when a load of a predetermined value or more is inputted to a tip part 40A nearer a baggage compartment floor 16 side than the tip part 40A of the first tonneau cover 40. When the load of a predetermined value of more to the front of the vehicle is inputted to the tip part 40A, a hooked condition is canceled, so as to prevent breakage of the tip part 40A.
