Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a thermoplastic resin foam sheet, in which fine inert gases can be contained without using a separator, by which an inexpensive manufacturing cost and a simplification of a manufacturing process can be aimed, and at the same time, in which bubbles are contained uniformly and the surface is beautiful. SOLUTION: A roll is formed by winding the thermoplastic resin foam sheet having on the surface a plurality of salients 1 in a triangular pyramid form, a cylindrical form having a curve top, or a linear chevron form, and the roll is retained in a pressurized inert gas atmosphere to allow the thermoplastic resin sheet to contain the inert gas.
