Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system capable of improving its alarm device. SOLUTION: The system is provided with a fuel cell 20 generating power by electrochemical reaction with supply of reaction gas, an annunciator device 40 informing that the fuel cell 20 is ready to start generating power at a given output or higher after being given system startup direction, and a control device 50 controlling action of the annunciator device 40. The control device 50 changes time from the system startup direction up to the action of the annunciator device 40, in accordance with a lapse of time from a system stop direction just before to receipt of the system startup direction.
