Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device in an automatic assembling apparatus capable of preventing defects from generating on the surface of a light projector part and a light receptor part in an optical sensor when operating the optical sensor by operation means such as a welding torch. SOLUTION: The control device is used for controlling air equipment such as a rotary actuator and a pneumatic cylinder through the welding torch 3 in a high temperature state of a welding robot. The device body side is disposed with the optical sensor 33 having the light projector part 33a and the light receptor part 33b capable of detecting the welding torch 3, and with injection nozzles 37 for injecting air on the surfaces of the light projector part 33a and the light receptor part 33b of the optical sensor 33, when detecting the welding torch 3 by this optical sensor 33.
