Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide an adsorbent for gas purifier having a high adsorption performance for carbon monoxide, and to provide an ultrapure gas using the adsorbent. SOLUTION: A mass-produced, inexpensive Cu-ZSM5 type zeolite for NOx catalytic cracking catalyst is subjected to activation on heating at 450-600°C under an inert gas atmosphere free from moisture to obtain an adsorbent having a high adsorption performance for carbon monoxide.
