Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal module having excellent heat radiation properties, without reducing luminance of a liquid crystal display panel due to degradation in light emission efficiency and light reflection efficiency of light sources nor increasing the number of components and assembling man-hours. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal module is provided in which the light sources 3 are provided inside a frame 1, at least the liquid crystal display panel 6 is disposed before the light sources 3 and attached to a front aperture part of the frame 1 and a light reflection sheet 2 is provided behind the light sources 3. In the liquid crystal module, through holes 1c for heat radiation and ventilation are formed in a rear wall 1a of the frame and the light reflection sheet 2 is provided so that small gaps 10 are formed between the light reflection sheet 2 and side walls 1d of the frame and a ventilation space 9 is formed between the light reflection sheet 2 and the rear wall 1a. Air heated by heat of the light sources 3 is discharged from the through holes 1c through the small gaps 10 and the ventilation space 9 to increase heat radiation properties and degradation in light emission efficiency caused by temperature rise of the light sources 3 is prevented to prevent the reduction in luminance of the liquid crystal display panel 6.
