Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a product of a good appearance in such a manner that the rolled shape of cooked rice is formed into a beautiful cylindrical shape when a seaweed housing-packaging sheet which is formed by housing a dried seaweed is automatically rolled. SOLUTION: This food product packaging apparatus has a packaging material feeding section 2, a food material feeding section 3, an ear folding preventing device 4, a holding conveyor 5 for slip prevention, a first edge folding section 6, a second edge folding section 7, a folding pressing section 8, a folding raising section 9, and a winding section 10. The packaging material feeding section 2 arranges a total of four suction pads 26 for sucking an input packaging material S and guiding the packaging material S onto a carrying belt V at positions corresponding to the peaks of an approximately lozenge shape. The packaging material feeding section 2 is equipped with four holding claws 23 and 24 for holding the vicinities of the four corners of the packaging material S, and a pair of holding claws 25 for auxiliary receiving for supporting both of the right and left sides of the packaging material S having a weak stiffness. The pair of the holding claws 25 for auxiliary receiving are arranged on a slightly lower side than the position of the holding claws 23 and 24 at the four corners. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
