PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming a bottom end of a dry wall member used as an external wall member of a construction for improving a water inflow function, a dew-proof function, efficiency of thermal insulation, and a water infiltration prevention function of synthetic resin foaming body of the dry wall member for a wall. SOLUTION: In this method for forming the bottom end of the wall, the bottom end of the wall is formed by a fixing part 1 like a vertical plane, an inclined face 2 suspended by tilting a bottom end of the fixing part 1 outward, an inclined decorative face 4 protruding by tilting a lower end of the inclined face 2 outward and upward, and a decorative face 5 protruding a tip of the inclined decorative face 4 upward. A long starter A formed by the inclined face 2 and water inflow and ventilation holes 7 formed at a bottom end of the inclined decorative face 4 at a fixed interval is formed by fixing it on a sill part of a wall substrate α horizontally and continuously and inserting the bottom end of the dry wall member B into a space 8 of the starter A. The dry wall member B is formed by using a synthetic resin foaming body as a core member 10 and a vertically stretched external wall member provided with a ventilation groove 17 on a rear surface side, and the wall is formed by letting effective width W of working of the dry wall member B correspond to pitch P of the wall substrate α.
