Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently discharge heat generated in a heating element inside small-sized communications equipment to the outside. SOLUTION: Portable communications equipment 1 and a cooling part 9 are connected by connectors 7 and 11. When the heating element 6 loaded on a main substrate 4 inside the portable communications equipment 1 is actuated, heat is generated. The heat from the heating element 6 is transmitted through the main substrate 4 and the connector 7 to the cooling part connector 11 of the cooling part 9 and transmitted from the cooling part connector 11 to a heat conversion element 12. The heat conversion element 12 in the cooling part 9 is structured, such that two conductor plates are stuck together, and electromotive force is generated between the conductor plates accompanying the rise of the temperature of one conductor plate. The power generated in the heat conversion element 12 is charged to a storage battery 14. Hence, the heat inside the portable communications equipment 1 is efficiently cooled in the external cooling part 9. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
