Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically adjust an optical system to a correct optimal point irrespective of positional shifting of a reproduced signal detector or a residual aberration of the optical system in a rewritable optical disk device or an optical information recording/reproducing device. SOLUTION: A spherical aberration and a focal depth are roughly adjusted simultaneously by using tracking error signal amplitude (PP amplitude) and finely adjusted by using reproduced signal amplitude (RF amplitude). The spherical aberration is adjusted to its correct optimal point. Thus, reliability of a signal to be reproduced is improved. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
