Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chain seal having both compressive set and flexibility in a balanced manner. SOLUTION: This chain seal is formed of a rubber composition containing fluororubbers. The rubber composition contains the first fluororubber and the second fluororubber in the form of the base polymer. The Mooney viscosity (ML1+10'100°C) of the base polymer is equal to or higher than 60. Therefore, the chain seal can have both compressive set and flexibility in a balanced manner. Namely, since the chain seal has small compressive set under use environment and a load thereon during bending is reduced, it is hard to be broken. Consequently, the chain seal can be stably used for a long period. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
